Gique and Big Sister Association of Greater Boston are partnering to offer local girls and their mentors a fun, active, and educational Science Can Dance workshop! Our program provides youth with a way to explore science, technology, and engineering through creative movement and dance choreography. Each workshop is led by local dancers who are also scientists and engineers, which provides a unique mentorship opportunity for students interested in both the arts + STEM.

The mission of Big Sister Association of Greater Boston is to ignite girls’ passion and power to succeed through positive mentoring relationships with women and enrichment programs that support girls’ healthy development. Ultimately, our vision is to create a mentor-rich community in which every girl has access to the individual nurturing, guidance, and support she needs to become a confident, competent and caring adult. We are a national model for gender-sensitive mentoring for girls which can be replicated in other mentoring programs.
